What am I made of and How to take care of me

Materials:

Lining: 100% New Zealand wool

Outer Fabric: 80% Recycled Waterproof Polyester, 20 % Polyurethane Coating

 

Design Features: Hidden zip pocket, reflective stripe, snap button closure

The hidden zip pocket offers a practical way to safely store essentials like your phone or keys. A reflective stripe enhances visibility, while two metal snap buttons ensure the wool hooded scarf stays securely and comfortably in place.

 

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold water using wool detergent. Lay flat to dry. Avoid hanging or tumble drying, and store folded.

Care Tip: To extend its lifespan, spot clean with a damp cloth whenever needed.

How I was made

I was carefully sewn from leftover scraps that came from the blanket production line. Additionally, a layer of waterproof fabric was added on top to protect you from rain and wind. My creators call that upcycled design.

Each wool scarf is made in small batches, determined by the leftover fabrics we have on hand. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. While the design stays the same, the colors vary, making every scarf uniquely yours.

By transforming production scraps and deadstock materials from Barker Textiles, we embrace zero-waste principles to create these exclusive, one-of-a-kind items.
